In the context and viewpoints of Western theory of sublime, by reviewing the stories and disscusion of sublime in Chinese culture, we find that the category of "greatness" of Chinese classical aesthethics is consistent and compatible with the sublime category of Western aesthethics.
我們在西方崇高理論的語境和觀點(diǎn)的觀照下 ,來考察中國文化中的崇高現(xiàn)象及相關(guān)論述就會發(fā)現(xiàn) :中國古典美學(xué)范疇中的“大”與西方美學(xué)范疇里的崇高是相通的、一致的 ,按照西方美學(xué)家對崇高的分類 ,中國的“大”主要屬于數(shù)量的崇高或象征型的崇高 ,即一種靜態(tài)的、觀照的崇高。
