南海東軟信息技術(shù)職業(yè)學(xué)院（簡稱“南海東軟學(xué)院”）是廣東省人民政府批準(zhǔn)、教育部備案的一所全日制普通高等學(xué)校，成立于2002年，是廣東省首批省級(jí)示范性軟件學(xué)院、國家技能型緊缺人才培養(yǎng)基地。學(xué)院由東軟集團(tuán)、億達(dá)集團(tuán)共同投資創(chuàng)辦，教育層次包括高中起點(diǎn)的普通三年制大專和示范性軟件學(xué)院兩年制大專；還與英國格林威治大學(xué)合作辦學(xué)。另外，也開展面向企業(yè)、政府和個(gè)人的終身教育和在線教育培訓(xùn)服務(wù)。學(xué)院以“教育創(chuàng)造學(xué)生價(jià)值”為辦學(xué)理念，強(qiáng)調(diào)“知識(shí)的運(yùn)用比知識(shí)的擁有更重要”，實(shí)行獨(dú)創(chuàng)的“1321”教學(xué)和SOVO大學(xué)生創(chuàng)業(yè)中心的實(shí)踐教學(xué)新模式，下設(shè)計(jì)算機(jī)科學(xué)與技術(shù)系、信息技術(shù)與商務(wù)管理系、數(shù)字藝術(shù)系、英語系和日語系，共開設(shè)有軟件技術(shù)、計(jì)算機(jī)應(yīng)用技術(shù)、動(dòng)漫設(shè)計(jì)與制作、電腦藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)、電子商務(wù)等26個(gè)IT相關(guān)專業(yè)，是一所國際化、實(shí)用化、創(chuàng)新型的專業(yè)IT學(xué)院。 學(xué)院坐落在廣東省四大軟件園之一的

Nanhai Neusoft Institute is one of the first institutes to be designated as a Guangdong provincial model software institute and a national training base for much-needed professionals. Nanhai Neusoft Institute, co-founded by Neusoft Group and Dalian Software Park, offers 3-year and 2-year programms, and international education programs. Meanwhile, the Institute also offers various continuing education and e-learning programs for enterprises, government departments, and individuals. Nanhai Neusoft Institute adheres to the ducational philosophy that ‘Education creates students’ value’ and stresses ‘The utilization of knowledge is more important than having it’. Nanhai Neusoft initiated the unique ‘1321’ system and the SOVO model. Nanhai Institute consists of the Department of Computer Science and Technology, the Department of information Technology and Business Management, the Department of Digital Arts, the Department of English, and the Department of Japanese. As a globalized IT institute with focuses on practicality and innovation, the Institute offers programs for 33 IT or Pan-IT majors such as multi-media technology, computer application technology, information management, animation design and production, digital art, e-commerce.Located in the Nanhai Information Technology Park, one of the four software parks in Guangdong province, and near Guangzhou, our school is immersed in a rich IT atmosphere as well as an academic one. The campus enjoys a beautiful landscape with hills and lakes. Meanwhile, we are equipped with advanced teaching facilities and abundant teacher resources. Currently we have 7000 full-time students, a number that is expected to reach 8000 by 2010.
